Hello everyone,

It's been a while... This time, I was able at last to FINISH something, which is a premiere since... early 2005 !!! My last complete drawing is the one I uploaded here almost 5 years ago. Incredible but true. That's why I wasn't really able to come back to deviantart.
I can see that the website has changed a bit, but most of the artists I was watching at the time are still there creating great work ! As for me, I will continue to try to improve my technique and work on my flaws (I know most of them). And I will try to finish my works and move on to the next one even if I'm not satisfied, which is the most difficult thing to do.

Just a few words to say that I'm still here !

I've been very busy these days (full-time job + journalism) and OF COURSE I haven't had time to draw... I should have more time next month, even though there is the Deauville Asian Film Festival from 8 March to 12 March... !
My last finished drawing was more than 1 year ago. I want to draw something soon... especially since I'm watching a lot of animes (for my work as a journalist, hehe, no kidding) !

For those who want to download legal music for CHEAP I have a very good plan for you.

Here is what happened. I was having a look at some videos I had saved and dropped by 2 AMV from the anime "Weiss Kreuz" (hehe, I know...). One of those was a real videoclip ('Tokyo Sling', good video) made specially for the anime and the other one was made by somebody unknown hidden behind a pseudo...

This videoclip was called "New Year" and the song was really VERY cool but I had no idea what it was and... the credits seemed to indicate that it was a Russian song !! The problem was that it was written in Russian... So I started my researches and found some clues on a Russian anime website. But everything was written in cyrillic... !! Well, I won't explain the detail of my investigation but after a while I learnt that the band was called "Agata Kristi" (Агата Кристи and the song was "Noviy God" from the album Pozornaya zvezda.

Eventually, after a loooooooong time I could find out where to download the song. I found this Russian mp3 website and guess what ?... You can download all the songs there for $0.10 ! and one entire album for less than $2.00 !! Even Western albums. Nothing to do with the very high prices on the French internet (0.99 euros for one song and 9.99 euros for one album !!!!).

Hello everybody,

It's time to write a new journal, even if there is few to say ! My last journal entry is dated January 2005, hum.. a long time ago, so to speak.

As I told some of you, I've been drawing all this time.. Yes, I've been drawing a lot, but nothing has been showable during all these months, unfortunately.
I've been through what you might call "the artist blues", and this difficult period has been lasting for about 6 months, which is much more than I could imagine when it started.

But along with the good weather, my hopes seem to get brighter and I hope to present something new very soon and resume with my past stakhanovist rhythm of drawing !
I'm about to buy the graphic tablet of my dreams, maybe this will help (although I know the technique cannot help in such cases, lol).

In the meantime, I've been 47 times to the theater since the beginning of 2005. I'm about to break my record this year, that is to say a record of 100 movies (in 2001) !

Last but not least : tomorrow, May 11, is my BIRTHDAY !

... OK my name will be at the very end of the credits since I was a trainee on Danny the Dog.

Why talking about Danny the Dog ? Because I'm about to discover it this evening for the first time.

The shooting took place exactly 2 years ago, and I was an Assistant-Director trainee in the Second Unit, directed by Yuen Wo Ping. Yes I had the huge chance to witness this great director/choreographer work every day. But I have seen nothing of the drama scenes that I've heard some good about..

The answer will be tonight at 10:30 pm (French time) when the movie ends. I'm expecting a lot from Jet's dramatic performance.
